UAB "Informacinė raida" together with Norwegian partners started implementing a new project “Device for household appliance fire prevention.“

The goal of the project is to create a new technology for fire prevention at home. A new fireproof sensor product for electrical appliances (washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, etc.) will be developed together with a smart electrical outlet. Based on the research and development of this project, the product will detect the early signs of fire/heat/smoke and automatically cut off the power supply in case of fire.

During the project, new research will be carried out and knowledge will be gained about the formation and movement of smoke in electrical appliances and outside. A completely new fire safety device will be created, suitable for the domestic and professional market.

The project is partially financed by the funds of the European Union, according to the largest international program EUROSTARS 3.
